Welcome to PS 267

East Side Elementary School, PS 267, opened its doors in September 2010. It is located at 1458 York Avenue and we are scheduled to move to our permanent location, 213 East 63rd Street, by September 2012.

We currently have kindergarten and first grade and look forward to adding pre-k and second grade for the 2012-2013 school year. We will eventually have pre-k through fifth grade and will continue to add one grade per year until our school is complete.

Kindergarten Registration

The kindergarten admissions process is school-based, but there is a standard timeline for all schools and there are citywide guidelines for eligibility and admissions priorities.
  • January 9 - March 2, 2012: Kindergarten application period.
  • March 19 - March 23, 2012: Initial offer letters distributed.
  • March 26 - April 20, 2012: Pre-registration period.
For more information about September 2012 Kindergarten Admissions* please also visit the NYC DOE website.

The Family Giving Fund is one of the most important ways that you can support the PS 267 school community. All funds raised complement our children's educational experience where the school budget falls short. This year, it has already funded an enrichment music program, while other contributions will go to science lab equipment, providing professional development for our teachers, classroom materials and planning for our transition to our new building in September 2012.

We value every single contribution – no matter the amount.
All donations are welcome and will help our school provide an excellent education for our children.

We thank all the families who have already contributed to the fund.
All donations are kept strictly confidential. The PS 267 PTA is a federally recognized 501 (c) (3) organization. All donations are fully tax deductible to the extent of the law and 100% of the funds will directly benefit our children. Please also inquire with your employer or HR department to take advantage of any available matching gift programs.
