About the School Leadership Team (SLT)
The School Leadership Team (SLT), is composed of parents, administrators and teachers. It plays a significant role in creating a structure for school-based decision making and shaping the path to a collaborative school culture. The SLT is a vehicle for developing school-based educational policies and ensuring that resources are aligned to implement those policies. Functioning in a collaborative manner, SLTs assist in the evaluation and assessment of a school’s educational programs and their effect on student achievement. The SLT is responsible for developing an annual School Comprehensive Educational Plan (CEP) that is aligned with the school-based budget for the school year, and will coordinate with the Parent Teacher Association to ensure that all school-wide committees are working toward the same goals set forth in the CEP.
