The PS 267 PTA & NY Cares Coat Drive is here! As we enter a season of warmth, holiday lights, and festive celebrations, how many of us have faced a New York winter without a warm coat? That's the reality for many New Yorkers in our city, especially those experiencing homelessness or financial insecurity.  But it doesn't have to be that way. For the last 31 years, NY Cares has channeled the generosity of our city into our annual Coat Drive. Last year we at PS 267 helped to distribute new or gently used coats to our Community Partners, which include social service agencies, public schools, and transitional housing shelters. Drop off anytime between December 9-20th in the Lobby.  We appreciate your generosity as we teach our children the power of giving!  Questions: Email our chairperson Curtiss Venn at

To date, only 16% of our school's families have contributed to family giving.  We strive for 100% participation.  No amount is too small, it is your participation and belief in our school that matters most.  You can donate online here or you can pay by cash or check made payable to PS 267 PTA.  Watch the Family Giving Tree in our school lobby bloom with flowers and the donation arrow rise high on the tree trunk!  Thank you so much for your support.

Family Giving supports enrichment programs and school wide advancements for all of our children.  Check out the specific link above to learn more or reach out to us with any questions at

Our teachers have created Amazon "wish lists" for items they would like for their classrooms, including birthday read aloud books, choice time items, and special projects supplies.  If you would like to donate an item directly to your child's classroom, click here from your laptop or desktop (does not work well from phones).  Check back often, as these lists are updated regularly.  And please consider choosing Eastside Elementary School PS 267 Parent Teacher Association for Amazon Smile.
